She is fun, affectionate and high-spirited. She has a puppyish enthusiasm for life and loves to engage with her people, often seeking eye contact and affection. She is playful and energetic - she loves running zoomies and exploring her surroundings. Her excitement can make her a little boisterous and uncoordinated at times, but her cheerful, affectionate personality shines through. She has done well with other greyhounds at our kennel. She loves to run zoomies and chase other dogs, but is able to disengage and settle after some initial excitement. Winnie would do best in a more active home, with a securely fenced yard, that can provide her some guidance and outlets for her enthusiasm. On leash she can bounce and pull at first, but does improve during the walk. She can be excitable in confined spaces and has a tendency to jump when excited. She is very food motivated, so it is easy to work with her and redirect her to more appropriate behaviours. Winnie will need a home without cats. Sponsoring a dog is easy.
