Animal Profile: Tattie is a 20lb, 6-year-old female pug that found herself in need of rescue when she wound up in the Moreno Valley Shelter. We saw her profile, and knew we needed to get her out! A cage is no place to live for a pugtato. She arrives Sunday 10/20 and we are excited to meet her! We discovered Tattie is blind in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life! Foster Update: Tattie is a sweet, sassy girl. She loves cuddles, cozy dog beds, soft squeaky toys and naps. She wants to be part of all the family activities. She is thriving with our daily routine and takes cues from other dogs. She snores rather loud but has a quiet bark that she rarely uses. She can be pretty sporty in short bursts. She doesn’t love walks and will not go potty just because she’s outside (apartment life wouldn’t be a good fit). She needs time to explore the yard. She likes soft treats but isn’t very motivated by food. She can go up the stairs but can’t go down them (we’re working on that). Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
