Male Dog, Terrier

Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Animal Profile: Barry is a cute little long body, short legged 3 month old puppy who weighs 9 lbs. He was an owner surrender as his family did not get permission to have him in their apartment. He joined us in the Seattle area on 4/17/2025 via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. Foster Update: Meet Barry! This spunky low rider boy is a wild rough adventure pup in a tiny package! He has all the energy to run and jump for days. His favorite pastimes include running around with his ball and wrestling with his stuffed bear. He takes on puzzle toys like a champ and loves playing with the flirt pole. He is almost potty trained and does really well with frequent opportunities to go outside. He is sleeping quietly through the night and is quiet in his crate with one or two corrections. He is teething like crazy! But we are working hard on bite inhibition and redirecting onto toys and chews. Barry is very confidant, and we think he would do fine as a single dog. Although, he is very respectful with our senior dog and would make a great addition to a family with dogs. He has shown a lot of interest in our cat — he may need slow introductions with cats. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Texas Saving Shelter Strays and arriving via Byrdie Express Transport to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.
