Description:
Animal Profile: Ash and Misty are husky mix puppies rescued from Central Washington. We were contacted by Valley Spay & Neuter about several young puppies found running loose on reservation land. Some of the puppies had been hit by cars, and none had access to food, water, or safe shelter. Without a rescue placement, they would have been released back into the area. When we heard their story, we knew we had to help. Ash and Misty were brought to safety and are now in the Seattle area. They are sweet, curious, and ready to begin their journey to safe, loving homes. Foster Update: Ash is an absolute sweetheart! He’s making great progress with potty and crate training -- he only whines when he needs to go potty and will wake me up a couple times throughout the night to go out. Ash loves to play and would do especially well in a home with another dog. He’s curious and confident but also looks to my resident dog for guidance from time to time. Smart and eager to please, Ash is a quick learner and already knows “sit.” Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.
