Female Dog, Shepherd

Shepherd / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

NAME: Lady Bunny AGE/GENDER: 6 year old, female BREED: Shepherd mix TEMPERAMENT: Sweet and affectionate WEIGHT: 60 pounds HOUSE TRAINING: Good! CRATE TRAINING: Good! She goes in her crate easily. OTHER DOGS: Good. CATS: Lady Bunny has a high prey drive so no cats. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $500 HEALTH: Lady Bunny is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. She came to us with pneumonia and is currently being treated for it. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care. HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find Lady Bunny a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Lady Bunny is a sweet girl who wants to be a big lap dog! She has a lot of energy and enjoys going for brisk walks - she is working on not pulling. She loves toys and is good about chewing only her toys. She has been in a dog play group and did well with another female dog. She is well-mannered, but working on not begging ;) All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew
