Description:

Meet Gracie! This sweet old 11 year old girl was adopted from us when she was 9. Unfortunately life changed a lot for her adopter and she was recently returned to us. She is a bit confused but settling in well in her foster home. What a glorious, playful, and happy girl sweet Gracie is! She is just adorable. At age 9, she is full of fun and love and acts like she is 4. She is easygoing, chonky, sooo soft and beautiful! She is loving and silly. She is ready to roll on her back for belly rubs at a moment's notice! A lover of people and exploration, the lab in her loves to swim and play in the water. She has attempted to drag large tree stumps to shore (of course, no success sweet girl). Gracie is so great out and about and loves to go on errands with you. She is fine meeting other dogs on the leash yet wants to have your home to herself where she can soak up all the love. We prefer to see her in home without kids as she is now older and her body has some aches and pains. She loves attention and a home with a backyard would be magnificent although if you are active, she is a great chill snoozer in the house. Her foster lives on a houseboat/barge and she gets plenty of fun outside time. Gracie has some health issues now - some arthritis that requires daily medication (not very expensive) and she has some spondylosis in her spine. She still gets around well and is enjoying life. She will fill your home with sunshine on a rainy day! Her adoption fee is $195 and she is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
