This 5 months old beauty recently came to us from a local shelter partner. He has a very sweet and playful disposition and is absolutely adorable. He is being fostered with other dogs and you can literally see his brain cells working by learning all these new things and how to be a good dog. Here is what we know so far:- Doing very well with dogs. He is very playful and considerate and follows the lead of others- He is fine with cats, playful but fine- He is crate trained and sleeps through the night without interruption- Provided he will get to go outside every 2-3 hours, you can consider him potty trained- Pibb will need a family who can take him to places so he gets used to noises and new things. Socialization is key as he is barking at any noises he has not heard before (i.e. washer lol). However, he listens well if you tell him its ok and introduce him slowy to the things he is worried about.- He rides well in the car, just lays down and sleeps- He did very well at the vets office and had no problems with getting his nails trimmed either- He is doing very well with leash training. - Pibb still has his puppy behavior. If you don't watch it he will steal your shoe and is also mouthing a bit but takes very well to correction. - We have not introduced him to small children but for being as sweet and submissive as he is we believe he will have no problem growing into this amazing canine brother he can be.- Pibb will be going to doggy dayschool twice a week starting 5/7- He will be available to go to his new home after his neuter on 5/22If you have additional questions about Mr. Pibbs please feel free to email his foster mom directly at [email protected]
