Female Dog, Boston Terrier

Boston Terrier / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Birdie recently moved foster homes in October 023 for a change of pace, and here is what her new foster mom has to say about her:"Birdie is full of personality! She gives hugs, she sulks with her head down when she gets fussed at, she throws herself back in a human sitting position and uses her paw to pull your hand to her belly for belly rubs, she gets excited and gets the zoomies."Birdie has also been a favorite at foster dog enrichment days, and is super goofy.Birdie came to us as a private surrender in 2022 extremely overweight. Her original foster mom immediately put Birdie on a diet. She was able to lose the necessary wieght and now looks terrific. Birdie is a beautiful, spunky and happy middle-aged girl who loves to spend time outside taking in the sun. Birdie is crate and house-trained, and walks well on the leash. She loves car rides and is the perfect passenger. Birdie is super funny when she gets into her zoomies and bounces around like a little ball. Birdie likes to burrow herself into her blanket at night. Watching her antics will simply make you smile. Birdie is dog selective, but gets along with calm submissive dogs. A slow introduction with other dogs is an important must do to make sure they get along. Birdie is not good with cats or small animals like squirrels or bunnies.
