Female Dog, German Shepherd Dog
German Shepherd Dog / Hound / Mixed (Medium Coat)
Description:
Lucky has had many changes and adventures in her life recently, but we’re hoping she will find a happy place where those changes can soon be over and she can call herself “settled.” She came to the shelter when her person faced an incurable illness, and no one in the family could take her in. Since coming to the shelter several months ago, Lucky has been in a foster home, adopted for a month, and then was back to her foster home. We think she has some allergies that might be caused by pollen or other things she’s coming into contact with in the environment, and hoping her change to a new rural environment with totally different trees and plants will make a difference. Lucky is a nice size at about 60 pounds, is great with children and toddlers, has been non-reactive to cats, and is tolerant of other dogs. We look forward to helping her continue her search for her new family. ************* (Sweet Lucky was signed over due to her human's incurable illness.)
