Blooper: Not at shelter (Joan)
Status: Last posted as 'available' on 04/15/26

Female Dog, Australian Shepherd

Australian Shepherd (Long Coat)

Description:

Four years old, not well socialized, and had no clue about a leash and collar when she was brought to the shelter, from a family who gave up five of their dogs to the shelter due to personal illness. Blooper is needy as far as not having any confidence or skills navigating a home or a family around her, as she was kept outside. She has done fairly well learning that food is always abundant in her foster home, and the children in the family are learning that slow and steady is the best course to take around her. She is a beautiful girl who needs time, and lots of it, to become confident. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected].
