1-year-old neutered male Plott Hound/Shepherd mix, arrived at the shelter on 1/12/26 as an owner surrender.Large sizeMedium energyDuke has some really long legs and and he’s still growing into them. He reminds me of Marmaduke and maybe that’s where the name comes from. Despite his size, Duke is easy to handle on the leash, just as nice as he can be to humans, and consistently does well with other dogs. Duke has all the makings to be a wonderful family dog - gentle, well-mannered, responsive, and affectionate.The Henrico Police Animal Shelter is accessible by appointment only.
