3-year-old neutered male Mastiff mix, arrived at the shelter on 1/19/26 as a stray.Large sizeMedium energyCrush loves people and is very gentle. He passes by other dogs in kennels without paying any attention to them, but outside on the leash he can be pretty rigid and aroused when he sees another dog. However, we were thrilled to see Crush all wiggly and playful when he got close to Duke on a recent walk, so we’re starting to think that Crush just needs to learn some social skills with other dogs so that he can feel comfortable with them from the get go. It’s definitely worth the effort to work with him because he’s a fabulous dog.The Henrico Police Animal Shelter is accessible by appointment only.
