Description:

Meet Peanut! This adorable frosty-faced girl came to us in a roundabout way from her owner. Peanut was advertised on social media for a free giveaway, and we reached out to take her in, but the owner gave her away before we could take custody. Only a day later, we got another message from one of our team members who saw Peanut posted as found on a local lost and found site… She was 30 minutes away from her new "home" and no one appeared to be looking for her, so we were able to get her from the finders and she has been living in a safe foster home for the past week. We’ve quickly learned that Peanut is a social, go-with-the-flow gal. She’s living with dogs and cats and has done well with both. She’s housetrained and crate-trained but can be trusted with free roam in the house. She barks a little when getting to know a new place, but she’s also had a very eventful past week. She has a moderate energy level, loves car rides, and does well meeting new people and other dogs. From her foster mom: This pup is perfect! I've fostered a lot of dogs and she was just about the best. Her personality is unmatched. She is SUCH a good, easy dog This easy-going budding senior will be making her way to the DC metro area today. Updates to follow!
