Lex is a sweet, goofy, and lovable pup who's looking for a family to help continue to boost his confidence. He loves his foster doggy sibling, and would thrive in a home with another dog to pal around with. He loves to play with any interested pups and is super gentle when he plays with dogs and humans alike. Lex is also cat friendly and currently living in a foster home with a cat! He is a petite guy at about 40 lbs, and we don't think he has much growing left to do. Looking for a pocket pittie? Lex is your boy! Lex is smart and playful and is picking up on training quickly in his foster home, including basic commands such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘place’. He loves to cuddle and is the perfect work at home companion, and although he is playful, he is perfectly content relaxing and quietly snoozing on a bed next to you for the day. He is housetrained and learning that his crate is a safe space and that his humans will always come back for him when they're gone. Can you blame him? He came into the shelter as a stray and no one ever came to claim this sweet boy. We promised Lex that we will find the most loving forever family for him.
