Meet Earl Grey, the sweetest senior gentleman you’ll ever meet! He is a perfect balance of calm and playful. His absolute favorite thing in the world? Getting cozy. If there’s a soft blanket, warm couch spot, or a lap within reach, Earl will find it and curl right in. But don’t mistake his love of lounging for low energy—Earl still has plenty of pep for daily walks and enjoys trotting around the yard, sniffing every good smell and occasionally breaking into a joyful little prance. He’s the kind of dog who appreciates a relaxed lifestyle, but still likes to have fun. Earl currently lives happily with a young child. He also lives with another senior dog. While he gets along great with his foster dog brother, he has demonstrated resource guarding of toys and foods on several occasions so we feel he would be most successful in a home as an only dog. He is nonreactive to other dogs so he's still great on walks and while out and about. This sweet soul is looking for a family who wants a snuggly, well-mannered companion—someone who enjoys slow mornings, soft blankets, and peaceful walks with a loyal friend by their side.
