Clare - female, adult pit. "Some people say ‘needs an only dog home’ like it’s a bad thing. I disagree! I’m like your very best friend that just doesn’t want to share you with another best friend and trust me- I won’t let you down. I’m about 2 years old and I was recently rescued from an abuse situation. Despite the horrible things I’ve been through, I LOVE people so much! I didn’t know what a family was until my foster parents let me try out their couch. They quickly found out that I take my job as House Hippo VERY seriously! They tell me I am SO smart and a fast learner- in my short time with them I’ve already learned to sit, potty outside, use my manners, and take walks! Did I mention that I am amazing at snuggling? I love to sleep and snuggle with my people and I’m told I have the cutest little snores. My foster parents are the best but I’d really love to meet my forever family and get officially settled.
