Female Dog,

Unknown Breed

Description:

If you resonate with those, “I like my dog and like, two people,” t-shirts, but you’re missing the dog part of that equation – we might have just the girl for you. Meet Lisa! While this lady is a silly, cuddly sweetie with her people, she can take some time to warm up to new folks. She does great hanging out with new friends if the intros are well managed, though -- she is currently loving spending time with her foster mom's wine night crew. Lisa does have some strong opinions who/what she wants to share her home with, so we’re looking for a adopter that can allow her to be the center of attention – she is not interested in sharing her space with kids or other pets. We don’t know much about Lisa’s history before arriving at PAWS, but she has made quite the lasting impression. She arrived to us with a painful right eye that had to be removed, and she has cataracts in her remaining eye - which helped coin her the loving nickname Lisa Left Eye. Her limited vision and her long afternoon naps are about the only things that show her age, though. Since entering foster care, this sprightly and playful diva has been showing off her dancing skills, prancing through her morning walks, and hasn’t met a squeaky toy she doesn’t like. Watch her go here! While she takes some time to warm up to most new folks, with patience, treats, and a healthy dose of caution, we know her forever home is going to appreciate everything this little munchkin has to offer. Age: ~11 years old How I came to PAWS: Found Stray Animal ID#: A-55674 Weight: 12 lbs Mixed breed (It’s impossible to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.) Location: Foster Care All of our dog meets are by appointment only; to get started, please complete the adoption application. To learn more about this dog, please contact us at [email protected] or 215-298-9680 ext. 16. Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, 2900 Grays Ferry Ave, Phila, PA 19146 (by appointment only).
