Senior dog alert! 10-year-young Teddy is still on the search for a comfy place to spend his golden years. In his oldish age, Teddy just wants to lounge around with his people, and follow them wherever they go. He would make a great companion for a family or individual looking for a relatively low maintenance, calm boy. Fun facts: - Feline & canine friendly! May need some time to warm up to higher energy dogs, but quickly learns to coexist and likes to play in the yard with other dogs once he feels safe! - 35 lbs of low-rider, meatball. - While his exact breed mix is unknown, his Sharpei side shows in his cute forehead wrinkles & purple marked tongue - complete with a paw print! - House & crate trained - prefers his crate to be adorned with soft blankets! - Was treated for heartworm but now has a clean bill of health. - A little slow going up & down the stairs, and might not always hear the doorbell ring, but gets around just fine. Especially at dinner time! - Teddy is fostered in York PA! New Oxford, PA 17350 LIC #9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
