Description:
“Wagging Through the World" (by Gilbert) I woke up wagging—tail in flight, The sun came up, the mood felt right. I stretched, I yawned, then gave a spin, Another day—let’s jump right in! The grass? Divine. The breeze? A dream. I chase the leaves down every stream. With kids, I’m game for tug or tag, They laugh, I zoom, my ears all flapped. Other dogs? Oh, what a crew! We sniff, we wrestle, share a shoe. I’m social, sweet, not one to pout, Just give a bark, and I’ll come out. But when the clouds roll in to stay, And zoomies gently fade away, I’m perfectly content to sprawl— A couch potato, floofy ball. I’ll curl beside you, snore a tune, Dream of squirrels and full-moon swoons. My heart is big, my needs are few— Just love, a leash, and time with you. So if you’re looking, here I stand, Four happy paws, a wagging brand. Your sidekick, shadow, snug and true— I may be fostered… but I choose you. If you're looking for a dog that's up to being outside and playing for hours but yet can be a movie night couch snuggle buddy Gilbert is patiently waiting to meet you! He's currently being fostered in Seven Valleys, PA. He's up to date on all vaccinations and preventives. Loves other dogs and kids. Crate trained and will even go in his crate when you say crate. Working on his leash skills on and off and just loves to be with you. Gilbert is a 1 year old, 40 lb mixed breed (short guy) Apply at https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers.
