Description:
Can this guy catch a break! Beethoven is a fighter and has conquered every curveball life has thrown his way the past few months! His stubborn self refuses to give up on life without yet getting to experience all he desires and deserves. He wants to experience unconditional love and support from a family all his own and nothing will stand in his way! At 5yrs old This boy was found severly underweight (now 130lbs) in Georgia with a pretty gnarly injury to his paw (all healed) he was treated for heartworm, neutered and gastroplexied then shipped up to PA with his foster momma. Who loves him dearly. He then fell ill with IMHA. But as of Friday March 28th he is now in REMISSION! Beethoven would love a family of his own to scratch, kiss, brush him. He doesnt mind climbing in ur lap when ur too busy scrolling through Facebook to pay him attention. He is kid, dog and cat friendly, He has shown a little bit of resource guarding at times but that seems to have lessened now that he is off prednisone. Beethoven likes meeting people while out in the community and with him being a large Saint bernard (mix) makes him quite the show stopper! Beethoven is up to date on preventatives and vaccines. He is being fostered in Dillsburg PA. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
