Meet Alabama, A 7-year-old boy weighing 56 lbs. He’s a mixed breed with a calm and well-mannered personality. He’s a big softie who likes belly rubs and loves to give kisses. He takes treats like a gentleman. Alabama gets along great with the other dogs and cats in the foster house. He’s a great companion for kids of all ages (fostered with kids ages 5 months, 4 & 7). He’s house trained and crate trained, but does so so well out of the crate. He’s a dream to walk on a leash and once he gets to know the property, might not even need one. He’s been introduced to stray cats and farm animals around fosters property and remains calm. He was treated for heartworm and has recovered. He is chipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
