Meet Delilah, a beautiful Great Pyrenees Mama of 12 that is now ready to find a family of her own. She requires a family that is willing to be patient with her. She is very shy and takes a time to warm up. She is not a fan of men. but loves children. Because of her breed she does require a fence in yard. She loves playing with other dogs, lying on the couch, toys, snuggles and giving and getting love from her Foster Mom and children. She will need a home willing to continue patiently sharing these with her as she came to us as a very timid Mama of 12. She loves the colder weather, snow and being outside. She is not super active as is the Pyrenees nature, but time outside especially in the cooler weather makes her very happy. Once she fills out she will be about 85lbs. She is in love with her Foster's 4 yr old daughter and will do well with kids that are gentle and understand that she needs them to quiet and respectful of her. She will thrive in the right environment and be an awesome addition to the family. She is HW positive and has one more treatment to go. Her treatment will be explained in depth to all potential adopters and is paid for by Homeward Bound as long as she is taken to our Vet in Dillsburg, PA.
