Charlotte joined our rescue on March 10th from a shelter in North Carolina where she was taken in as a stray. Her euthanasia date was set for March 14th. Thankfully, we had a foster step up and offer to take her in so we could help Charlotte find a home to live out the rest of her years!The shelter placed Charlotte at 6 years, but, we are being honest and believe her to be older than that. We put her at 8 years as she is actually in good health and still has some spunk to her. She has been examined by our veterinarian and we did full blood work on her and everything came back fine. Her spay is set for April 23rd.Charlotte is a shepherd mix and currently weighing 54 lbs. She is being fostered with several other dogs and is doing well. The first couple of days she did some grumbling with the others, but has since then settled in and enjoying playtime with them. She is crated while her foster mom is at work and goes in her crate on command. Charlotte is also house trained, walks great on a leash and is a queen at riding in a car :-)! The foster mom describes her as sweet, quiet, loving and smart. Her tail is always wagging and she is just a happy girl!Charlotte will be spayed, is microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $375.
