Please contact Susan ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Sadie is a young -- and very happy -- Brittany mix. The vet estimates her to be between 9 and 12 months old, and healthy. She is spayed, UTD on shots and on HW preventative. Sadie has a lot of energy and loves to play with toys, other dogs and humans. She would love to have a canine sibling that also likes to play and wrestle, but could be an only dog if she gets plenty of attention and exercise. Sadie does like to relax in the evening and loves to snuggle with her humans -- and her canine foster siblings. Sadie is fairly reliably house-trained, and her few accidents have been the result of excitement. She is also crate-trained -- initially she really hated her crate but she has gotten to the point where she will willingly go in at night and actually goes in sometimes just to rest. Sadie would love a home where she gets to be part of the family -- she wants to be involved with everything and is very curious. Sadie is also pretty resourceful -- she has been known to climb a chain link fence and can jump pretty high as well. She would be really good at agility and also loves to play ball. Sadie is learning her house manners but loves to please her people and is highly treat motivated. She is in a home with older kids (10 and 15) and three female dogs. Sadie has learned to respect the more dominant dogs and gets along with all the dogs. Sadie is still young so will benefit from obedience training, and is probably best with older or dog-savvy children as she still likes to jump in greeting.
