Meet Max! Max is a 9-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Don’t let his age fool you—this guy still has plenty of energy and loves getting outside for walks or exploring a fenced yard. He enjoys taking in all the sights and smells, and he’s always ready for his next little adventure.Around the house, Max likes to think he’s the one running things. He can have a little bit of attitude sometimes, but it just adds to his charm and makes his personality shine. Despite his “boss of the house” mindset, he’s incredibly loving and happiest when he’s curled up on the couch snuggling with his people.Max does well with other dogs and cats and has great house manners. He’s both house trained and crate trained, and he handles alone time like a pro. While he actually enjoys going into his kennel, he can get a bit upset if there’s a lot of activity happening around him while he’s inside, so he does best when his crate is in a calm, quiet spot. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
