Meet Jenny and Chipper!Meet this sweet pair of Poodle mixes, Jenny and Chip! Jenny is 12 lbs, and approx. 8 years old. Chip is 11 lbs., and is believed to be the same age. It is very possible these are brother and sister, or spent their previous lives together. Jenny and Chip are VERY bonded and rely on each other for confidence. Jenny is the more outgoing of the two with her endless love to snuggle and please. Chip is still quite apprehensive with being approached and getting introduced to new things. He has made great progress since he has been here but it will take patience and lots of love for him to accept he is safe now. He does love a good ear scratch! It would be wonderful to see them adopted together, especially since Chip relies on her for courage. 8 years is a long time together! They both have learned how to walk on a lead. Both are crated together at night with no accidents. They both do well to with other small dogs. These 2 just need a soft, loving quiet home where they can continue to florist and learn that the world isn't a bad place after all.Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt! Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
