Female Dog, Anatolian Shepherd

Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Sage Sage is a stunning 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a big presence and an even bigger heart. She has left the puppy chaos behind but kept all the fun. She is playful, energetic, and ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick for life. As a guardian breed mix, Sage shines brightest with confident, experienced owners who understand large dogs and appreciate their strong, devoted nature. She is a smart, dominant girl who is learning her boundaries and truly thrives with structure, consistency, and clear leadership. Give her guidance, and she will give you unwavering loyalty. While Sage has had positive interactions with other dogs, she would do best as the only pet where she can soak up all the attention and settle comfortably into her role as queen of the castle. Because of her size and enthusiastic play style, she is best suited for a home without young children. The good news is that Sage already has a strong foundation. She is house trained, crates well after a brief little protest, and knows sit, down, and shake. She takes treats gently, loves her toys, and enjoys engaging with her people. Sage is not just looking for a home. She is looking for her person. Someone who sees the beauty in a strong, intelligent guardian girl and is ready to build a lifelong bond. Could that be you? If you are interested in adopting Sage, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
