How to Adopt Luke didn’t ask for his life to turn out this way. At around 10 years old, he found himself inherited from a family member and suddenly without the love and care every dog deserves. He has clearly been neglected and is in need of gentle hands, lots of TLC, and a good grooming — not just to clean him up, but to help him feel wanted again. Luke is a black-and-white boy with soulful brown eyes that tell a story of quiet endurance. He’s missing his tail, and we don’t know what happened to it, but it’s another reminder that his past wasn’t kind. Despite everything, Luke’s heart is still wide open. He is incredibly sweet, and once he chooses his person, his loyalty runs deep. He doesn’t give his trust easily — but when he does, it’s a gift. Luke is looking for a soft place to land for his golden years. A calm, loving home where he can finally rest, be cherished, and know he is safe. He has so much love left to give — all he’s asking for is someone willing to give him a chance.
