Male Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier

American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Boomer – Your Loyal, Loving Companion Boomer is a 3½-year-old, 55-pound American Pitbull Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. This handsome boy is house trained, crate trained, and a perfect gentleman in the car. He’s great with children, gets along well with other dogs, and is happy to meet new people. Boomer has no guarding tendencies, is good with groomers, and will gladly be your tug-of-war champion. He’s an affectionate, loyal companion who loves deeply and bonds strongly with his people. While he can get a little excited and jump up to say hello, that’s simply his joy shining through—and with a bit of consistent training, he’ll have that under control in no time. Fireworks might earn a few barks from him, but otherwise, he’s an easygoing guy. Boomer is up to date on vaccinations, will be neutered prior to adoption, and just needs his flea/tick and heart worm preventatives to be set for the season. He does have seasonal allergies but is otherwise in great health. Boomer's current owner is heartbroken to part with him due to housing issues and the threat of eviction. She wants nothing more than for him to find a safe, loving forever home where he will never have to worry about losing his family again. If you’re looking for a devoted, playful, and loving companion who will stand by your side through everything, Boomer is ready to meet you. Boomer would thrive with a confident doggy companion who can show him the way.
