Peanut is the definition of a gentle soul who just wants to be your devoted companion. This beautiful 9-year-old has spent the last 4.5 years being the perfect couch potato and walking buddy, and she's ready to bring that same love and loyalty to a new family. Peanut's ideal day? Cuddling on the couch with her favorite humans, going for a nice family walk, and then more couch time! She's house-trained, calm, and just wants to be close to the people she loves. She currently lives peacefully with two cats and acts like one of them most of the time! She's also wonderful with other dogs - calm at the dog park and happy to let other pups come to her rather than being pushy. She loves car rides and gets adorably excited when she sees her harness come out for walks. She even enjoys special trips to Starbucks for whipped cream! While she's initially shy with new people (she does cute zoomie circles when nervous!), she warms up quickly when given a little space. Once comfortable, she'll come right over for pets and love. Are you looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will be your shadow and best friend? Someone who's past the puppy phase but still has years of love to give? Peanut might be your perfect match! She's not looking for an adventure-packed life - just a loving home where she can be the center of someone's world and get her daily dose of walks and belly rubs.
