Approx. DOB: 8/15/24 Current Weight(as of 3/18/25 ): 35.4 Adoption Fee: $225 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Nikki and her brother Nicholas were released to us, Furry Kids' Refuge because the family had to many dogs. Her parents are both black lab mixes. She has a beautiful black shiny coat. Nikki has been working on walking on a leash. She wears a harness to help her learn. The harness, her collar and leash will go home with her when adopted. Nikki is playful, energetic and fun. She loves all the other dogs. Her favorite chews are the Kong brand ones for heavy chewers. They have all types and sizes. Nikki was been working on her housebreaking skills but she is still a work in progress. She is worth the time, patience and love in helping her master it. Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
