Meet Billy — The Sweetest Little Fighter If you remember Billy came to us on the brick of death after he was found abandoned and on his own trying to survive. He spent a lot of the first couple weeks fighting and honestly, we weren’t sure he would make it. But he did and now he is thriving!! Billy was diagnosed with Hypoparathyroidism which effects the breakdown of calcium, good news it is very treatable with just a pill a day! Even better the pills are very affordable! Now that Billy is healthy, he is ready to find his forever family. Billy is a 1–3-year-old, 35-pound Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. He may be mostly blind and deaf, but don’t let that fool you — this boy is brave, determined, and full of life. Billy navigates the world with curiosity, sweetness, and a whole lot of courage. Billy is still working on potty training and learning the layout of his foster home, but he tries so hard and improves every day. His disability hasn’t slowed down his determination — he’s truly a little fighter with a huge heart. Billy would do great in a patient, loving home that understands his special needs and appreciates his courage and resilience. He gets along well with other animals and would thrive in a calm environment with people who are ready to cheer him on as he continues to learn and grow. He deserves the best!
