Male Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed

Description:

Just look at those soulful eyes! Meet Buddy, a handsome Black Lab mix who is just 10 months old and weighs 40 pounds. He is a great fun-loving boy that will grow a bit more in the weeks ahead and he is estimated to be a medium size dog of under 60 when fully grown. This playful pup loves making new friends, both human and canine.Buddy dreams of finding his very own people to shower with affection. He is a smart boy and is learning important skills like house training, crate training, and walking nicely on a leash. He has many of the wonderful characteristics that make Labrador mixes so popular. Buddy loves to play and wants nothing more than to be your loyal friend. He gets along great with other dogs and is gentle with children. He has not had the opportunity to be introduced to cats since coming into rescue. Like all young dogs, Buddy will thrive with consistent basic behavior training and time to learn your family routine. In return, he will give you all the love he has in his heart and soul. With your patience and guidance, he will blossom into the best companion you could ask for. Could Buddy be the next cherished member of your family?* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Buddy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.
