Description:
Meet Bear, the small sized mixed breed (we are guessing some sort of terrier / chihuahua mix). Bear has experience around children and other dogs (a large breed dog). He has been easy going since his arrival at the Shelter â enjoying time out in the yard with volunteers and interested in meeting with other dogs. Bear is still perfecting some life skills like potty training so adopters will need to be patient as he transitions into his adoptive home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
