Description:
From Shelter Pup to Shining Star: Meet Lola Born in early November 2024, Lola is a beautiful German Shepherd puppy with soulful eyes and a heart full of hope. Rescued from a local shelter at just a few months old, Lola is now flourishing in the care of a loving foster home — learning, healing, and discovering what it truly means to be safe and loved. Sweet, sweet Lola is the very definition of calm and affectionate. She adores people and is blossoming with every gentle touch, kind word, and wagging tail she meets. Social and curious, she gets along well with other dogs and is always up for a cuddle or a quiet nap by your side. This little lady is already mastering her crate training. She sleeps peacefully through the night, only waking if she needs a rare potty break — and even then, she’ll politely go back to bed when asked. Lola is also a star student when it comes to learning her basic manners, picking up on cues like “sit,” “down,” and recall with enthusiasm and grace. Lola loves toys, enjoys a warm bath and towel dry (her first one was a hit!), and finds joy in the simple things — a soft place to nap, a kind voice, and a game of gentle play. She’s still a little sensitive to unfamiliar sounds, but with patient introductions, she’s growing braver each day. Though she’s still getting used to car rides due to a bumpy first experience, Lola is making steady progress with the help of short trips, encouragement, and positive associations. It’s a minor detail in an otherwise bright and promising journey. For such a young pup, Lola is remarkably easygoing and endlessly sweet. She doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, patience, and a family to call her own. In return, she’ll give you her heart, her loyalty, and her calm, gentle companionship. Lola is waiting. Are you her second chance? Lola is a level 4 dog and the adopters will need to be puppy approved
