She came to us from a house with over 60 cats, arriving heartbreakingly thin with three tiny 4-week-old kittens of her own: Cosmo, Martini, and Tito. But Julep’s heart is bigger than her own little family—when her sister passed away, she immediately stepped in to nurse her sister’s three kittens as well, raising all six babies with grace and love. At first, Julep was shy and unsure, hiding away from the world. But oh, how far she’s come! Now, she greets her friends for pets, chats in her sweet, vocal way, and even purrs to show her trust. Her beautiful swirly gray tabby coat shines, and instead of the skinny, exhausted mama we first met, she’s now delightfully chunky and living her best life.Her favorite pastime? Perching like the queen she is on the top of her cat tree, surveying her kingdom with calm confidence.
