Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Uchida is hoping you can make some beautiful music together! An anxious and shy artist, Uchida is looking for a home to peacefully compose his masterful ballet of biscuits and, if he has time, a concerto of cuddles. So prepare yourself for a symphony of sweet meows and head bonks once he settles into his role with you and his new family! Uchida came to PAWS after his previous owner passed away, so he is understandably confused and befuddled by his current conundrum. He has traditionally been nervous and unsure of unknown people, but displayed a balance of aloof independence to go along with his affection seeking side with his last family, so a quieter adult-only home with a little less foot traffic would be his preferred landing spot. Uchida also lived with another cat in that home (they were much younger and already found their new home), so he might do well finding a home with another social and lower energy kitty needing a friend. Uchida has a low grade heart murmur (Grade 1 out of 6), so proper exercise as well as managing his stress and weight will help with that. He could also use some dental care in the near future for a cleaning and maybe some extractions if necessary.
