Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Homie is a sweet young cat with an old soul! Though he's still a baby at one year old, he has the demeanor of an old man with one rounded and one pointed ear, and the eyes of a cat who has seen some stuff! He is the chillest of guys, spending most of his time napping or bathing in his favorite cardboard box. Homie is very vocal, but not really chatty. He has tiny little snores when he naps and guttural squeaks when he takes a bath. He will give a chirp hello but hardly ever meows. Every morning Homie likes to play with a wand toy, getting flat as a pancake before his strike! He'll then walk off with the whole wand once he’s captured it. Homie is food motivated and would do well with food puzzles. He has even been known to suckle when he feels safest. Homie came to PAWS with a wound of unknown origin on his neck. He has been in recovery like a champ, healing and growing back his fur while also working out some itchiness. He gets allergy medicine and gabapentin daily, and has no problem being given his medication. I highly recommend this social guy be adopted with or into a home with another cat. He loves my resident cats! They play and nap together and Homie can even be found trying to bathe the other cats (much to their chagrin).
