Description:
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love RescueMeow meet Petunia! This beautiful senior girl once had everything she needed - a person she loved, a place where she felt safe, and a life filled with quiet comfort. When her beloved owner passed away, the only person and world she had ever known disappeared. Coming to the rescue was simply too much for her tender heart. She withdrew, not because she didn’t want love, but because she was scared and missing the one person she had loved for so long. Thankfully, foster care has given her the quiet space needed to begin finding herself again. She’s sweet, loving, and gentle, and little pieces of her personality are coming back. With each day this sweet gentle girl continues to blossom and amaze her foster mom. Now she loves to be out with the other cats sometimes supervising from the cat tree or even romping around with the kittens. She loves to be brushed, enjoys gentle pets and of course loves wet food time. Petunia isn’t looking for much, just a peaceful home, a kind heart, and someone who understands that love doesn’t always happen overnight. Some cats spend their lives waiting to find their person. She already had hers once. Now she’s hoping, with all the courage she has left, that there’s room in someone’s heart for one more. Could that someone be you? Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it. We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year. Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts! SAVING ONE CAT MAY NOT CHANGE THE WORLD...BUT FOR THAT ONE CAT, THE WORLD CHANGES FOREVER!
