This beautiful black girl has one of the sweetest hearts at the rescue. She loves being petted - really loves it! The kind of cat who leans into your hand, who soaks up every bit of affection like it means everything…because to her, it doesn’t take long. She wasn’t always the quiet one. When she first arrived, she was right in the middle of everything- curious, social, always nearby, ready for attention. She trusted easily. She loved openly. She wanted to be part of your world. But time has passed, and the rescue has been a lot for her gentle spirit. The noise, the constant change, the different people every weekend - it’s overwhelming. Now Charm hangs back more, choosing quiet corners over the center of the room. And yes…she’s gotten a little sassy at times. But it’s not who she is - it’s how she’s coping. Underneath that moment of sass is the same loving girl who just doesn’t know how to ask for comfort anymore. When things are calm, when someone takes a moment just for her, she melts all over again. She still wants connection. Charm needs it! She came in as a young sick momma with her kittens, and she gave them everything. She was gentle, patient, and devoted - a truly wonderful mom. She is good with other cats, and she still has so much love to give. What she needs now is someone who will see her - not just the quiet cat in the corner, not the brief sass - but the affectionate, loyal companion she has always been. Someone who will give her the peace she’s been waiting for. Because she hasn’t stopped loving. She’s just waiting for someone to love her back the same way! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
