Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Petrie, A Gentle Soul with a Big HeartHello, my name is Petrie, and I’m a tiny black kitten with a quiet spirit and a big journey behind me.I was found by a kind stranger and brought to the shelter just in time. When I arrived, I wasn’t in the best shape—my small body was covered in fleas and scabs, and I didn’t feel well at all. Thankfully, the wonderful team here jumped into action, cleaning me up and giving me the medical care I so badly needed. At first, I was very scared. Everything was new, and I didn’t know who I could trust. But with patience and kindness, the staff here have helped me start to feel safe. They say I’m still a little shy and unsure of myself, but I’m trying hard to be brave. With soft voices and gentle encouragement, I’ve started to come forward in my kennel to say hello—and when you pick me up, I turn into a little purr machine.I may not be the boldest kitten in the room, but I have so much love to give. What I need now is a calm, understanding home where I can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe enough to let my personality shine. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted companion who just needs a little extra love to blossom, I might be the perfect match for you. Come meet me and see how far a little kindness can go.One of the biggest and most exciting times in anyone's life is adopting a new kitten!
