Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)
Description:
Hi, my name is Missy, and Iâm a gentle, loving soul in search of a quiet home to spend my golden years.I once had a wonderful life with a person who loved me very much. But when they had to move into assisted living, I wasnât able to go with them. So I came to the shelter, where the kind staff have promised to help me find a new forever home.At 9 years young I am a calm, well-mannered cat who enjoys the simple things: a soft place to rest, a warm lap to curl up in, and the comfort of a kind hand. At first, I was scared here. My home was all I had ever known, and this new world felt overwhelming. But over time, Iâve begun to trust the people here and understand that they only want the best for me.Since arriving, the shelter team has made sure I received the medical care I needed, including a much-needed dental. Iâm feeling so much better now, and Iâm beginning to show more of my sweet personality. I love being petted, and Iâm even starting to enjoy being groomed. When Iâm feeling especially content, Iâll reward you with a soft, steady purr.If youâre looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share your home and heart, I could be the perfect match. I still have so much love to give, and Iâm ready to begin the next chapter of my life with someone who will treasure me as much as Iâll treasure them.Come meet me and see what a joy it is to love a senior cat.I am a senior cat that is eligible for the Senior 2 Senior Adoption Program! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $50.00FELV/FIV testing can be done for additional $35.00.
