Description:
Nicholas is a truly special cat—one who doesn't need to be the center of attention to form a deep bond. He began life in a busy condo with three siblings, but he's learned that what suits him best is a calmer, quieter environment. Nicholas is a sweet, gentle, and friendly boy who shows affection in his own understated way. A soft head bump, a peaceful nap nearby, or simply sharing the same room are his ways of saying he feels safe and connected. Nicholas would likely thrive with someone who understands that every cat has a unique personality. Rather than demanding constant attention, he's looking for a patient adopter who will appreciate his quiet companionship and let his confidence continue to grow at his own pace. If you're interested in welcoming Nicholas into your home, you can learn more about him and start the adoption process through PAWS of Hertford County. The rescue's adoption process includes an application, a screening to ensure a good match, and all adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as appropriate, tested, and microchipped before going home. P PAWS of Hertford County For someone looking for a calm, loving companion, Nicholas may be the perfect match. All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee. Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.
