July 3, 2025 - PERCY, one of the two FURR cats adopted 4 years ago, however we're very sad to report that his loving owner, Carol, recently died, so it became necessary for his family to return him to FURR. Lucy and Percy need to stay together as they were adopted together as kittens 4 years ago. They are both sweet as can be and need a new FURR-ever home as soon as possible! January 2023 – Great news Percy is adopted! The beautiful black & white PERCY boy was adopted by a wonderful couple! This big kitty, although quite shy, has a lot of love to give & has waited WAY too long for his dream to come true! His new mom, Carol, is extremely patient & spends a lot of time with PERCY giving him love & play time! PERCY is one of the last Topsail colony rescued cats now with only Charlie & Lucy left to be adopted. Dozens of cats and kittens were rescued from the Topsail colony over the last couple of years & now, all but 2, have “furrever” safe indoor homes. It has been a journey. Al, Sherry, Rick & Deb ALL came together & worked with me to make it all happen. Meet all FURR kitties available for adoption on PetFinder!
