Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair

Description:

Meet Yaris! Don’t let his shy demeanor fool you; this little dude is full of personality and spunk! Yaris struggles a lot with his social skills. So, he doesn’t love new people when he’s first introduced and wouldn’t be great in a busy or loud home. He will also probably take some time to adjust to his new home and forever family. However, if you give him a chance, he blossoms into a sweet, adorable little kitten who’s ready to play! Yaris loves his toys, wrestling with his foster siblings and getting up to a myriad of other goofy adventures. He’s still learning to trust humans, but he’s developed quite a fascination with his foster mom recently and loves to sit nearby for pets and a peep at whatever she’s up to. He loves to cuddle at the foot of the bed and watch the television as well. For his special person,Yaris is going to be the most amazing little guy! He’s gotten a lot of confidence from his more confident foster siblings and would greatly benefit from a home with other cats. Meet Yaris by applying to adopt and a meet and greet can be coordinated. He is hanging out with his friend Yoela in foster right now and is still a bit shy for the adoption events. Apply to adopt to be the first to meet them! Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at [email protected] for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
