Description:

BONDED PAIR: Want to be reminded every day that true love exists? Meet Skye Thea (FIV-) and Boots’A’Doots (FIV+...meaning he has a compromised immune system that may never both him at all but it will be important he see a vet sooner rather than later if he gets sick so it doesn't escalate)! Although shy at first with people, their loving nature is immediately obvious when you see them interacting with each other - cuddling together and chirping at each other. After two weeks in a new foster home, their wonderful personalities are starting to shine through. Boots’A’Doots (male) is especially playful, funny, and curious. Skye Thea is calm and sweet. In foster care, Skye Thea was the first to feel fully relaxed out in the open, but Boots’A’Doots was the first to actively approach and investigate his foster human. The ideal adopter will be very patient as this very special pair gets comfortable with their new surroundings. They came from a pretty crappy environment and raised 3 of their own beautiful kittens and 3 more foster kittens in a loving foster home before arriving in our care. Apply to adopt to be the first to meet Boots'A'Doots and his girlfriend, Skye Thea, in their foster home since they are shy kitties who won't adjust well to the commotion at our adoption events. All cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at [email protected] for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
