Female Cat, Domestic Medium Hair

Domestic Medium Hair

Description:

Freckles is a sweet girl. She raised her kittens in my home but I had her for only about 4 days after her kittens departed and it was fun to see her personality come out in that short time. She started playing with toys for the first time and really relaxing. She solicited pets more than she did while raising the kittens and would climb up on my desk and lay across the desk next to me to try to elicit attention. She was a great mama and always on alert to ensure her kittens were well looked after. My home office was the perfect quiet spot for her to raise her kittens. She was rescued roughly a week before the kittens were born. She has been indoor only since she arrived in our care and has adjusted very well. She came out of a campground as a friendly and very pregnant stray. We do not know how she would adjust to other cats or calm dogs given slow introductions. We do not know what her other experience with cats or dogs is but she seemed unreactive in our office, during the week she awaited her spay surgery. All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.Meet Freckles at our weekly adoption event on Saturday, 12-4pm. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at [email protected] for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
