Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair

Description:

Darby is a very sweet and loving little girl but she is not a fan of being picked up. She will snuggle day, but she gets to decide. From the moment she walked into her new foster’s house, she checked out her new digs with curiosity while also making sure to give leg rubs and politely ask for some ear scratches. She is full of energy, just like any other kitten, but also loves curling up on top of you to watch a good movie. This little girl is so friendly; she has welcomed our neighbors in to play or give ear scratches, and she never runs and hides or shies away. She is eager to greet anyone she meets, and after she gets some pets, she is ready to play. She’s endlessly curious and loves exploring every corner of her world, so don’t be surprised if you find her peeking out from under your curtains! With her sweet personality and adventurous spirit, Darby is sure to keep you smiling and entertained. Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Darby or visit her during our weekly cat adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd on Saturday from 12-4pm. She will be ready for adoption beginning Thu, 3/19. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee for a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at [email protected] for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
