Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)
Description:
Meet Phineas!Meet this gentle soul who just needs a little time to shine. This sweet, shy kitty may take a moment to come out of his shell, but behind those cautious eyes is a heart full of quiet love. Phineas enjoys cozy corners, soft blankets, and peaceful environments where he can feel safe and secure. Once he learns to trust you, youâll discover a loyal companion who expresses affection in the most tender waysâsoft purrs, slow blinks, and staying close by your side. Phineas would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone who understands that the best bonds take time to grow.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
