Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair

Description:

Mable is a curious and adventure-ready gal, the only thing she is missing is a forever home and best friend! Mable is a calm and gentle girl, with occasional outbursts of energy and excitement. For the most part, she likes to go with the flow. Once she is comfortable in her new home, you are likely to find her keeping an eye on the neighborhood from a window, practicing long distance jumps, and checking in on her human roommates. Mable is a vocal cat who likes greeting and starting conversations with her human roommates. She is a playful cat who likes exploring new foods and finding new ways to keep busy, so it is important to give her a stimulating environment. Mable is not overly food or play driven, and likes to take things at her own pace. But once you have passed Mable's background check, you are in for a lifelong friend! Mable loves co-working and sharing space, breaking up her naps with play breaks, and learning more about her surroundings. If you are a patient and can provide a calm, yet enriching environment, young, sweet Mable might be the right fit for you! Mabel is fully vaccinated, negative for FelV/FIV, spayed, litter box trained, and ready to go home today. The adoption fee for a cat is $150, which helps with the costs of routine medical care. If your kitten is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, you will be required to sign a contract obligating you to ensure this procedure is performed. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). **If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
